Ingeniero en Electrónica y Comunicaciones egresado de la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara en 2000. Realizó sus estudios de Maestría de 2001 a 2003 con orientación en Procesamiento Digital de Señales (FIMEE) en la Universidad de Guanajuato. Realizó sus estudios de Doctorado en la Universidad Técnica de Dresde, Alemania en el área de Procesamiento de Voz 2010.

El Dr. Gamboa posee una amplia en la industria europea y norteamericana al trabajar en Nuance Communications, Technisat GmbH, Panasonic Automotive Systems entre otras. Actualmente, trabaja en el desarrollo de Sistemas Infotainment y algoritmos de inteligencia artificial para Conducción Autónoma.
